First Challenge

Within the first 5 minutes on campus, the contestants had to compete in their first challenge. Each team will ride 26.2 miles on a bike. The first nine teams earn a spot in the house. The two teams who come in last will be asked to leave the campus immediately. The team that comes in first will win immunity at this week’s weigh-in.

Green team won immunity.
Grey team was #2
Black team was #3
Orange team was #4

The Mom from the blue team couldn’t stay on the bike from extreme cramping and pain, so the daughter pedaled alone.

Pink team was #5
Red Team was #6
White team was #7
Brown team was #8
Purple team was #9

Blue team and Yellow team were the last two teams and had to leave campus. But as they were leaving in the limo, Jillian and Bob stopped them to tell them that it is not over. Both teams will go home for 30 days and then they will both come back to weigh in. The team with the highest percentage of weight loss will be able to stay on the Biggest Loser ranch. And, while they are home they will get Bob and Jillian’s help.

Elimination

I was happy to see the teams vote for James to go home since he had a stronger support system at home, a pool to workout in, and he doesn’t have to go back to work. He has a bad knee and isn’t able to workout like the rest, so he wouldn’t have been as big a threat as his brother. But the contestants did the right thing instead of the best game play.

James went home and lost 100 lbs in 2 months!

  1. Steve Says:

Welcome to another segment of “The Biggest Looser”.
It appears the producers and staff might be trying to make some sort of statement. As was written several of the members are weighing close to 400 to 500 lbs. Before people were turning to weigh reduction through surgery. It is being shown that exercising and eating correctly can burn away those extra pounds.
Biggest problem I found with this episode of “The Biggest Looser” was when James started having trouble with his knee he was advise to go exercise in the pool. His brother John went with him. When the weight lost was tabulated they both had the least. Maybe if John had worked out in the gym it could of been better.
One hundred pounds James in two months at home - wonderful!
