Ali and Michelle Return to Biggest Loser Ranch

Ali, the first female Biggest Loser, came back to the ranch to fill in for our host Alison, who just had her baby Megan.

And, with her she brought 3 contestants that were eliminated earlier in the game - Nicole (red), Estella (white), and David (orange).

They came back looking great! They got up on the scale and the one with the greatest percentage of weight loss would get to return to the ranch. Here’s the numbers:

So with Nicole returning to the Biggest Loser ranch, she posed a big threat to everyone, especially Tara, since her total percentage of weight loss was second only to Tara. And, Nicole got immunity at the next weigh-in.

Ron Goes to the Hospital

ron experienced some chest pains and felt lightheaded and dizzy. He was taken to the hospital for Dr. H to find that Ron had a bleeding ulcer in the part of his stomach he doesn’t use anymore. The loss of blood is what caused the sudden lightheadedness. He spent some time in the hospital recovering from his procedure and then was cleared to return to the ranch.

Michelle Returns to Host the Rope Challenge

Michelle, the season 6 Biggest Loser, returned to campus to host the Rope Challenge for the contestants. And, she’s looking better than ever!

This next challenge looked easier than I’m sure it was. The contestants started standing over a pool on a board balanced on 40 ropes. As the challenge progresses, the ropes get cut leaving it more and more difficult to balance. The last one standing won a 1 lb advantage at the weigh in.

Mike was out first, then Felipe. Sione and Kristin were the last two standing, and after 1 hour on the ropes, Sione won!

Week 13 Weigh In

There was an interesting turn of events this week with immunity. We were all reminded of the immunity rule on the Biggest Loser - you’re immune as long as you don’t gain weight. But, as you can see below, Nicole gained more weight than we have ever seen someone gain in several seasons.

Elimination

With Ron and Nicole below the yellow line, it surprisingly came down to Kristin to break a tie for elimination. Kristin stayed true to her alliance with Ron and Mike by voting for Nicole to go home.

And, I think her reasoning was a good one - Nicole didn’t need to be at the ranch. She actually did better at home. After Nicole got home she lost another 20 lbs givign her a total of 105 lbs lost on her own! Congratulations Nicole for doing what most can’t!
