Blue and Yellow Teams Return

The show starts this week with Miggy going to the hospital in the middle of the night complaining of stomach pains. She is having tests done but she will be fine.

Blue and Yellow Teams Return

Blue team and yellow team have been home for 30 days and came back to the ranch to face off. But before they could weigh-in, they did a last chance workout with Bob and Jillian.

The Twist!

As blue and yellow prepared to weigh-in, Ali told them that the team with the biggest percentage of weight loss will not only earn the right to come back to campus and stay in the game, but they will also win immunity guaranteeing them 2 weeks on campus. And…they will have the only vote at this week’s elimination.

Yellow team dominated although both teams did a great job at home!

Football Challenge

First team to hit the tackling dummy 1000 times wins immunity and the team that comes in last gets a 2 lb penalty at the weigh-in. Red and Grey were neck and neck, and then all of a sudden white crept up behind them all and Michael was in second place, and then in first place. Mike won immunity, and Pink came in last place and got the 2 lb penalty - one lb for each of the pink team.

Miggy is Back

Nothing But Red!

To start off the week, the teams had to participate in a Pop Challenge. They had to run to get cards that when put into a machine, would display a checkmark or xmark. The team that got 3 winning cards into the machine first won immunity and the ability to make 3 very important decisions.

Red team won again and could potentially make some serious enemies in the house with their decisions. Here they were:

1. No Access to the Gym - Red team gave this card to John because he works out in the pool already so it wouldn’t significantly affect his workouts.

2. No Elimination Vote - they gave this card to Michael because several people confronted him at the last weigh-in about his laziness, and they didn’t want him to seek revenge through his voting.

3. 2 lb Disadvantage - Red team gave it to the green team because they pulled lower numbers last week.

Bob and Jillian Talk to Red Team

Because in the last two weigh-ins, Melissa hasn’t lost any weight, and she just happened to be immune both weigh ins. Lance and Melissa were so mad that Jillian and Bob yelled at her and called her a liar on national television. Bob backed down, and Jillian held her ground. And, in the end Melissa asked Lance to let it go and move on to work with both trainers.

Pull Your Own Weight Challenge

The winner of this challenge will get a phone call home and the chance to assign three other phone calls to three other teams.

Grey team won with red team 1 second behind them. They chose to give the other calls to Red team, Green team, and John from Brown team. All great choices!

Student Teacher Week on the Biggest Loser

The contestants were told that each duo was going to be split into the student and the teacher. The teacher has to train the student. The students would not be able to work out with the trainers this week.Only the student’s weight would count on the scale this week.

M&M Temptation

They have to eat more M & Ms than anyone else. The winner of the temptation gets to choose who will be the student and teacher for each team. Most of the teams didn’t want the responsibility of deciding. Pink team won by only eating two M & Ms.

Spool Challenge

The teachers have to twist and tie 1000 feet of ribbon through a child’s playground. The students will then draw to find out which color ribbon they will be untangling. The person with their ribbon wound back up first wins immunity and the chance to choose which team they want to switch student and teacher positions.

Once the teams twisted and turned their ribbon in as many confusing ways as possible, Alison told them that the students will have to unwrap their own color ribbon blindfolded! The teachers must communicate with the students to tell them how to go.

Biggest Loser Week 2

Medical Tasks

Dr. H gave each team a medical task to impress upon them how much damage their obesity causes. The White team had to watch a normal sized man carry Michael’s weight. Bob had to take an extra 300+ lbs and needed help to stand, his hips were hurting, and he was in a lot of pain.

The red team had to see how much it costs them throughout their lifetime to be obese. As an armored truck pulled up, Dr. H explained to the couple that they are throwing away 3 million dollars in lost wages and extra expenses for their choice to be overweight. Seeing 3 million dollars in person in the back of a truck was impactful on them.

Balance Beam Challenge

Winners get immunity and the losing team gets a 2 lb penalty at the weigh in. Red team won immunity! And, Maria’s fear of the water sent her falling on her face. She got a bloody nose, and was taken to the hospital. She broke her finger too. But, because Michael went to the hospital with his Mom, he didn’t finish the challenge and took the 2 lb penalty.

Patti asked to be sent home so her daughter can continue at home with her amazing support system. Everyone obeyed her wishes and sent her home. Patti went home and lost 43 lbs.
